I make hypnotic images from the subconscious, where angels, fairies, & ghosts emerge from rainclouds, blooming trees, & waves. I draw inspiration from the stunning natural worlds communicated in the kimono embroidery of traditional Japanese textiles. My affinity with textile arts & sewing bleeds into the process of drawing these intuitive pictures.
