Based in Brooklyn, New York since 2018, Unique Board (UB) is a creative studio specializing in the production of unique & experimental artist editions, ranging in mediums of Augmented Reality (AR), 3D printed sculpture, editions of originals, & newly — fine jewelry & NFTs.

UB challenges the art world in their fluidity of weaving traditional x digital art mediums into seamless collectibles. Known for collaborating with artists from around the globe, UB has a robust client list & collector community, centered primarily in the US & Asia.

My role at UB began as Creative Strategist — A full-time thinker, brand strategist, content creator, web designer, & email & social marketing mind. I gave UB its online voice to connect with an audience that grew from 16k to 27k followers, with no advertising budget. Working alongside UB’s founder, Dan Kim, I helped bring a powerful vision to life through daily visual storytelling — To give budding & established art collectors, & everyday people, access to new experiences of art.

“UNIQUES” by @geoffrey_bouillot x UB

In late summer 2021, I envisioned, directed, & released a brand new genre of accessible original artworks for Unique Board called “UNIQUES” — A collection of 10 works on paper, crafted in collaboration with Tokyo-based, French born artist Geoffrey Bouillot.

Priced at $1600 each, these 1/1 paintings feature a unique character made in the artist’s signature monochrome style. The background “canvas” for each work includes a subtle spherical design & bold text layout created by Stefy Loret, designed to feel like a rare exhibition poster.

Floating in the foreground of all 10 works are three QR codes that connect the collector to interactive Augmented Reality artworks made by UB, based on Geoffrey’s original paintings.

The collection sold out soon after the release — Utilizing only social & email marketing.
